We are seeking a senior professional with a minimum of 10 years'' experience in ERP platforms and asset management, with deep expertise in Assets Under Management (AUM), capital raise, and revenue reporting processes. The role will lead the transition of AUM operations onto a modern data-lakehouse platform spanning data governance, flow/roll-forward logic, reference and master-data management (fund/security master, Investment Vehicle code consistency), and automated, certified reporting to replace legacy spreadsheet and multi-tool workflows. The ideal candidate combines hands-on knowledge of AUM roll-forward, fund structures (public and private), the capital lifecycle, and revenue-to-AUM linkage with the ability to define target-state operating models, governance frameworks, and month-end close acceleration. Strong working knowledge of book-of-record systems ABOR (Accounting Book of Record) and IBOR (Investment Book of Record) and experience unifying investment and accounting data into a single source is essential. Strong stakeholder management across Finance, Distribution, and Technology, together with a proven track record delivering large-scale data and ERP transformation programs, is essential. Job Title Associate Director AUM Operations Data Transformation Location: Mumbai (Work from Office) Working Hours: 1:00 PM 10:00 PM IST About the Role We are looking for an experienced Associate Director to lead strategic transformation initiatives across Assets Under Management (AUM), Capital Raise, Revenue Reporting, and Data Management for a global asset management organization. This leadership role will drive the modernization of AUM operations by transitioning legacy reporting and ERP-based processes to a modern Data Lakehouse platform, enabling standardized data governance, automated reporting, and a single source of truth across Finance, Investment Operations, Distribution, and Technology. The ideal candidate brings a strong combination of asset management domain expertise, ERP/data transformation experience, stakeholder leadership, and program management. Key Responsibilities AUM Revenue Operations • Lead end-to-end AUM reporting across public and private market investment vehicles. • Manage AUM roll-forward processes including subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, market movement, FX impacts, distributions, and capital activity. • Oversee Capital Raise reporting and investor flow analytics. • Drive Revenue-to-AUM reconciliation and reporting accuracy. • Ensure consistency across management, regulatory, and executive reporting. Data Transformation Modernization • Lead migration of AUM reporting from legacy spreadsheets and multiple reporting tools to an enterprise Data Lakehouse platform. • Design target-state operating model for AUM data management and reporting. • Define enterprise data governance standards. • Drive automation of month-end and quarter-end reporting processes. • Improve data quality, lineage, certification, and auditability. Master Reference Data Management • Govern enterprise reference data including: • Fund Master • Security Master • Investment Vehicle hierarchy • Client hierarchy • Legal Entity structure • Currency and benchmark mapping • Ensure consistency of Investment Vehicle codes across upstream and downstream systems. • Establish governance processes for master data lifecycle management. Investment Accounting Data Integration • Drive integration of: • Accounting Book of Record (ABOR) • Investment Book of Record (IBOR) • Market Data • ERP Platforms • Data Warehouse/Lakehouse • Build a unified reporting model across accounting and investment operations. • Improve reconciliation and certification of investment data. ERP Technology Leadership • Partner with Technology teams on ERP modernization initiatives. • Define business requirements and operating models. • Support data architecture, reporting automation, and workflow optimization. • Collaborate with Data Engineering teams on scalable reporting solutions. Governance Controls • Establish governance for AUM reporting processes. • Define reporting controls and certification frameworks. • Implement KPI, SLA, and data quality dashboards. • Support regulatory and audit requirements. Stakeholder Management • Partner with senior stakeholders across: • Finance • Fund Accounting • Investment Operations • Distribution • Product • Technology • Data Management • Lead steering committees and transformation governance forums. • Present updates to senior leadership and executive stakeholders. Program Leadership • Lead large-scale business transformation programs. • Manage cross-functional project teams. • Drive change management and user adoption. • Ensure timely delivery of strategic initiatives. Required Qualifications • Bachelor''s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Computer Science, or related discipline. • MBA, CA, CFA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification preferred. • 10+ years of experience in Asset Management, Investment Operations, Fund Administration, or Financial Services. • Minimum 5 years leading transformation, ERP, or data modernization initiatives. • Experience managing global stakeholders.
