We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic leader for the position of **Associate Director - Business Planning** . This is a critical "sell-side" role focused on demand generation, revenue optimization, and platform merchandising for our private brands (MSB). The ideal candidate will take ownership of demand forecasting, pricing operations, and business analytics while managing a high-performing team to drive customer demand and traffic. **Key Responsibilities** - Demand Forecasting & Sales Planning: Lead demand generation strategies by forecasting sales for future months, planning inventory needs, and providing strategic inputs to the buy-side/supply teams on what products to procure. - Pricing Operations: Oversee day-to-day pricing operations for procured products, ensuring optimal margins and competitive market positioning. - Analytics & Reporting: Drive analytics and Management Information System (MIS) reporting for the entire Merchandise Financial Planning (MFP) process to track key performance indicators and revenue goals. - Team Leadership & Management: Directly manage and mentor three distinct teams dedicated to private brand revenue performance. - Platform Merchandising & Traffic Generation: Ensure optimal product visibility on the platform, driving customer traffic and demand for targeted inventory. **Operational Scope & Cross-Functional Collaboration** Unlike buy-side or inventory control roles that focus on system capacity and purchasing guardrails, this is a dedicated revenue and demand management function (often referred to as CDM or Revenue Team). You will work closely with category buy-side teams to translate procured inventory into realized sales, ensuring that products do not remain unsold and that revenue targets are consistently met. **Candidate Requirements** - Experience: 8 - 15 years of solid experience in business planning, demand forecasting, and revenue management. Demonstrated experience in people management and leading multiple teams is strictly required. - Industry Background: Mandatory experience in E-commerce or Quick-commerce environments. - Core Competencies: - Deep understanding of the "sell" profile and demand generation. - Strong business and analytical acumen. - Proven track record in P&L management, pricing strategies, and analytics. - Ability to preempt market trends and translate them into actionable sales plans. **Required Skills** demand forecasting, sales planning, revenue optimization, pricing strategy, pricing operations **Required Education** MBA
