Colleagues here collaborate in a dynamic environment that encourages innovation, continuous improvement, and professional growth. **Role Description** The Associate Energy Control Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for supporting energy efficiency and performance across Tesco facilities and operations. This role involves monitoring energy consumption data, analyzing trends, and supporting the implementation of energy-saving initiatives aligned with business and sustainability goals. The engineer will assist in the operation and optimization of building management systems, work with cross-functional teams to identify improvements, and help troubleshoot energy-related issues. Daily activities include preparing reports, supporting audits and compliance checks, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external partners, and contributing to standards and best practices for energy management. The role also involves documenting processes, sharing insights with colleagues, and supporting continuous improvement projects to reduce energy usage and operating costs. **Qualifications** - Candidates should possess foundational skills in energy engineering, electrical or mechanical systems, including understanding of building services, HVAC, and energy efficiency principles. - Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience working with energy data, performance metrics, and basic statistical or spreadsheet analysis. - Candidates should possess technical skills related to building management systems or control systems, such as familiarity with automation, monitoring tools, or SCADA/BMS platforms. - Candidates should possess collaboration and communication skills, including the ability to work with cross-functional teams, prepare clear reports, and present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Energy, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) or equivalent practical experience are beneficial. - Knowledge of sustainability practices, energy standards, and regulatory requirements, as well as an interest in continuous learning and improvement, will be advantageous.
