Job Requirements Job Title: Associate-Environmental Social and Governance Department/Function: Environmental Social and Governance Job Purpose: To support the ESG team through structured and accurate data management, with a primary focus on tracking key ESG metrics, supporting ESG reporting and ratings, maintaining regular documentation, and assisting in operational responsibilities. The role will enable timely and high-quality data disclosures, assessment follow-ups, internal and external ESG compliance support, and ensure effective coordination across departments. The ESG Associate will report to the Manager- Environmental Social and Governance, who currently oversees the Bank’s sustainability disclosures, ESG ratings, data automation and governance, and general operations. Roles & Responsibilities: • Data Management & Tracking • Own end-to-end ESG data collection from internal departments in line with the approved ESG SOP. • Track key ESG metrics being updated to the management and being disclosed in quarterly investor presentation. • Maintain structured data repositories and evidence logs in the ESG Shared Drive, ensuring audit readiness and traceability. • Coordinate data follow-ups, resolve gaps, and ensure consistency across reporting periods. • ESG Reporting & Ratings Support • Support preparation of ESG reports from a data standpoint and assist team in responding to data requests from ESG rating agencies and external stakeholders. • Ensure timely closure and follow‑ups on questionnaires for internal and external ESG assessments. • Track submission timelines, data dependencies, and action items related to sustainability disclosures and ratings. • Support creation of ESG dashboards, charts, and summaries for internal and senior management reviews. • Documentation, Trackers & Presentations • Maintain ESG trackers for disclosures, ratings, audits, and internal reviews. • Support documentation and coordination for Internal Audit, Operational Risk, BCM, and other governance or risk reviews. • Assist in preparing presentations, working files, and records required for internal ESG discussions. 4. Operational & Administrative Support • Provide team-level operational and administrative support such as scheduling meetings, budget management, vendor management and onboarding, invoice processing and closures. • Support and coordinate employee engagement initiatives and maintain MIS on participation parameters. 5. General Administrative & Team Support • Support the team in day-to-day execution of ESG initiatives and team operations. • Provide cross-functional support across disclosures, ratings, compliance, and internal coordination. • Contribute to process improvements related to ESG data quality, documentation, automation and reporting efficiency. experience with data management, charts, spreadsheets, financial reporting or related roles. Skills & Competencies • Strong attention to detail, especially with data, spreadsheets, charts, and documentation. • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and data dashboarding and visualization. • Active mindset to learn and implement on the job. • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities across technical work and operational tasks. • Organized, dependable, and execution-oriented Educational Qualifications: Postgraduate degree in Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Finance, Economics, Business Management, or a related field. Familiarity with Indian and global ESG frameworks (such as BRSR, GRI, etc.) is desirable. Experience : 2 - 5 years of relevant experience
