Associate Manager - Distribution (CFA Operations)

We are seeking a highly driven and experienced candidate for Distribution department to lead end-to-end CFA operations at our Lucknow facility. The role is responsible for ensuring efficient warehousing, inventory management, cold chain compliance, regulatory adherence, and seamless distribution of pharmaceutical products while delivering high service levels and operational excellence. Job Details: Designation: Associate Manager Distribution (CFA Operations) Location: Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh Department: Distribution Education: Any graduate, Preffered - MBA - SCM & Logistics Experience: 8-15 Years Key Responsibilities: Depot & Distribution Operations • Manage end-to-end depot operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, order processing, picking, packing, and dispatch activities. • Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment while maintaining agreed customer service levels. • Coordinate with transporters, logistics partners, and service providers to ensure smooth distribution operations. • Monitor depot performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity. Inventory & Warehouse Management • Drive inventory accuracy through cycle counting, stock verification, reconciliation, and effective inventory control practices. • Ensure adherence to FIFO/FEFO principles and optimal warehouse space utilization. • Oversee material handling, storage practices, and warehouse management systems to maintain operational effectiveness. Quality, Compliance & Regulatory Management • Ensure compliance with GDP, GMP, SOPs, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. • Monitor cold chain and temperature-controlled storage conditions to safeguard product integrity. • Support internal, external, customer, and regulatory audits and ensure audit readiness. • Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure compliance with all statutory requirements. Safety & Team Leadership • Drive EHS, warehouse safety, security, and risk management practices across depot operations. • Lead, mentor, and develop depot teams to achieve operational and business objectives. • Foster a culture of compliance, accountability, and continuous improvement. Desired Candidate Profile • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Science, Supply Chain, Logistics, Pharmacy, or a related discipline. • MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Operations will be preferred. • 8-15 years of experience in pharmaceutical warehousing, depot management, supply chain, or distribution operations. • Strong understanding of GDP/GMP guidelines, quality systems, and regulatory compliance requirements. • Proven experience in handling warehouse audits and regulatory inspections. • Hands-on experience with SAP, WMS, and inventory management systems. • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities. • Experience in handling cold chain and temperature-controlled pharmaceutical products will be an added advantage. Preferred Candidate • Prior experience in managing pharmaceutical depot operations and regional distribution networks. • Demonstrated track record of driving operational efficiency, compliance, inventory accuracy, and service excellence. • Willingness to be based in Lucknow and manage distribution operations across the assigned region.
