Associate Product Manager II

Job description

**Responsibilities:** **Product Strategy & Vision** - Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy for the General Insurance (Motor product line would be a preference) Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and technology trends - Define and track key success metrics aligned with business objectives - Translate business needs and business goals into actionable product requirements **Roadmap Planning & Execution** - Create and maintain a prioritized product roadmap based on business requirement, market analysis, and business impact - Collaborate with engineering, design, and QA teams to deliver high-quality features on schedule - Make data-driven decisions using analytics, user research, and insights - Manage the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch and iteration **Customer & Stakeholder Engagement** • Work closely with Business, Product, and associated teams to understand requirements • Engage with business team, product team to gather requirements and validate solutions • Present product updates and strategy to internal stakeholders and executive leadership **Cross-functional Collaboration** • Partner with engineering to define technical requirements and ensure feasible implementation • Coordinate with Business, Product and support teams on enablement **Educational Qualifications** • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. • MBA from a recognized institute (preferred). **Competencies Required** **Experience -** • 5+ years of product management experience, specifically in General insurance domain (Motor LOB) • Hands-on experience with product construct and product implementation • Proven track record of launching and scaling successful insurance products • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments • Background in companies specializing in General Insurance • Hands on experience with insurance distribution platforms/core systems/backend systems **Skills & Competencies** • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to inform product decisions • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Ability to translate complex problems into simple, user-centric solutions • Technical aptitude to collaborate effectively with engineering teams • Strong stakeholder management and prioritization skills Behavior Required **OneIL1Team -** • Growth Mindset. • Team Player. • Adaptability.
