**Role Objective** Support the Programming Strategy & Insights function through robust data analysis, performance tracking, and audience measurement. The role will be responsible for mining large datasets, monitoring viewership trends, creating actionable reports and dashboards, and supporting content, scheduling, and monetisation decisions through timely and accurate insights. The role is on a third-party payroll and will be on contract for six months. **Key Responsibilities** **Data Analytics & Performance Tracking** - Analyse BARC data, audience behaviour, ratings, reach, TSV, and market-level performance across programming genres and time bands. - Mine and interpret large datasets to identify viewership trends, audience shifts, and performance opportunities. - Maintain regular performance trackers, dashboards, and scorecards for Prime Time and Non-Prime Time programming. - Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports to monitor channel, show, slot, and competitor performance. - Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and timely dissemination of insights across stakeholders. **Programming Insights & Decision Support** - Support programming teams with data-backed recommendations on content performance, scheduling, slot movements, and launch strategies. - Conduct pre- and post-launch analyses for new shows, special events, and programming interventions. - Track effectiveness of content changes and recommend corrective actions based on audience behaviour. - Monitor seasonal, festive, and competitive market trends impacting viewership performance. **Advertising & Revenue Analytics** - Track Ad GRP delivery, inventory utilisation, and break performance. - Support analysis of break structures, FCT allocation, and scheduling effectiveness to improve monetisation outcomes. - Provide data inputs during key business periods such as IPL, major launches, and competitive events. **Stakeholder Support** - Partner closely with Programming, Sales, Distribution, and Business teams to address data and insight requirements. - Prepare presentations, reports, and performance summaries for leadership reviews and business discussions. - Support Sales teams with audience and market insights for advertiser pitches and category analyses. **Reporting & Process Excellence** - Build and automate reporting frameworks to improve efficiency and consistency. - Maintain historical databases and knowledge repositories for performance benchmarking. - Identify opportunities to improve reporting methodologies, tracking mechanisms, and analytical processes. - Ensure adherence to reporting timelines and governance standards. **Capabilities Required** - Strong proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and performance tracking. - Advanced Excel skills; experience with BI and visualization tools preferred (Power BI, Tableau, etc.). - Ability to work with large datasets and derive meaningful business insights. - Strong understanding of BARC data, audience measurement, and television viewership metrics. - High attention to detail, analytical rigor, and problem-solving capability. - Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. **Experience & Profile** - 5-8 years of experience in Media Research, Broadcast Analytics, Audience Measurement, Business Analytics, or Programming Insights. - Bachelors/Postgraduate degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Management, or related disciplines. - Experience working with large datasets and performance reporting frameworks. - Exposure to television, media, entertainment, or audience measurement ecosystems preferred. - Hands-on experience supporting business teams through data-driven insights and analytics.Top of Form **Duration** - Six Months Disclaimer: This job posting has been aggregated from external source.
