Because becoming the undisputed leader in food means surrounding ourselves with people who are hungry for what’s next. **OVERVIEW** The Digital and Technology team at General Mills India Centre is seeking a passionate and experienced individual to design end-to-end test solutions for Automation testing projects. This role requires a deep understanding of industry trends and best practices, encompassing cloud, mobile, big data, and IoT testing. **KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES** - Own overall QA deliverables, including test strategy, test plans, test cases, and required signoffs aligned with governance standards. - Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright, TypeScript/Python, JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, and Appium across web, mobile, UI, and API testing. - Use strong programming fundamentals in Java, C#, and JavaScript to develop effective automation scripts and support code quality through reviews and coding standards. - Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD and DevOps pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, or similar platforms. - Execute end-to-end testing activities including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing while managing test environments and configurations. - Apply strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, SDLC knowledge, SQL, and web technology understanding to ensure robust test coverage and defect resolution. - Create clear test documentation from requirements, even when development documentation is limited, and work with tools like JIRA and ADO for issue tracking. - Partner closely with developers, product managers, stakeholders, and offshore teams to communicate test progress, quality metrics, issues, and continuously improve testing processes and team capability. **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS** - **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, IT, or related field. - **Experience:** 2-5 years of experience in Software Quality Engineering, Test Automation, and QA. - Strong understanding of OOPS concepts with hands-on programming experience in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or C#. - Expertise in end-to-end test automation using Playwright with TypeScript, and experience building scalable automation frameworks using Selenium, TestNG, and Appium. - Experience in integrating automated test suites into CI/CD and DevOps pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, or similar platforms. - Strong experience in UI, API, database, and end-to-end testing, including SQL for backend validation and data verification. - Experience creating test scenarios, test cases, and test documentation from business and technical requirements. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills with experience working in Agile teams, along with hands-on experience in JIRA and Azure DevOps (ADO). **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** - Automation testing certification, ISTQB certification, or other relevant certifications. - Experience in Microservices, API Integration testing. - Knowledge of technologies such as Google Cloud Platform, Big Data, AI/ML, Data Warehouse, ETL, Data Architecture, CI/CD DevOps. - Familiarity with Agile Testing methodologies, test planning, and test management. - Experience with API Testing and test design techniques. - Experience in performance testing and data testing tools. **ELIGIBILITY** Applicants must meet minimum age qualifications in the country in which the job is located.
