Job Description # **Job Title: Associate Technical Consultant-Azure** **Location:** **Delhi** **Experience:** 1–5 Years Job Overview We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused **Azure Technical Consultant** to design, implement, manage, and support Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and services. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Azure compute, networking, identity, security, backup, monitoring, automation, and Windows/Linux environments. ## **Key Responsibilities** - Design, deploy, configure, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure and services. - Manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD/WVD) environments and support virtual desktop deployments. - Configure and administer Microsoft Active Directory (AD) and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD). - Implement and manage Azure Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), user access, permissions, and security policies. - Configure and manage Azure Virtual Networks (VNet), subnets, Network Security Groups (NSGs), and Route Tables. - Implement Azure connectivity solutions, including Site-to-Site VPN, Point-to-Site VPN, and ExpressRoute. - Configure and support Azure traffic distribution and application delivery services, including: - Azure Load Balancer - Azure Application Gateway - Azure Traffic Manager - Azure Front Door - Manage Azure Storage Accounts, including storage configuration, access, and security. - Configure and maintain Azure Automation Accounts and automate routine operational tasks. - Implement and manage Azure backup and disaster recovery solutions using: - Monitor Azure infrastructure and applications using Azure Log Analytics and related monitoring tools. - Configure and manage Microsoft Defender for Cloud to strengthen cloud security and monitor security recommendations. - Implement and manage Azure Managed Identities for secure access to Azure resources. - Administer and troubleshoot Windows and Linux operating systems hosted on Azure. - Manage system updates and patching using Azure Update Manager (Update Management Center). - Troubleshoot Azure infrastructure, networking, security, identity, backup, and performance-related issues. - Prepare technical documentation and provide technical support to customers and internal teams. ## **Required Skills** - Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure and cloud services. - Good knowledge of **Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD/WVD)**. - Experience with **Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)** and **Active Directory**. - Strong understanding of **Azure RBAC**, Managed Identities, and access management. - Knowledge of Azure networking, including **VNet, NSG, Route Tables, VPN, and ExpressRoute**. - Experience with Azure Load Balancer, Application Gateway, Traffic Manager, and Azure Front Door. - Hands-on experience with Azure Storage, Automation, Backup, Snapshots, and Recovery Services Vault. - Knowledge of Azure monitoring and security tools, including **Log Analytics** and **Microsoft Defender for Cloud**. - Good understanding of Windows and Linux server administration. - Experience with Azure Update Manager and patch management. - Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer-handling skills. ## **Preferred Qualifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Microsoft Azure certifications such as **AZ-104: Azure Administrator Associate** will be preferred. - Experience working in a customer-facing technical consulting or cloud support role.
