Please see the below job description and let me know your interest. **Automation Architect,** **Hyderabad.** **5-day work from office.** **Test Automation Architect / Senior Automation Lead** **Position Summary** We are seeking a hands-on Test Automation Architect / Senior Automation Lead to drive automation initiatives for enterprise applications, data transformation programs, and modernization projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in test automation, data validation, software development, and quality engineering practices. This role requires someone who can design scalable automation solutions, contribute to framework development, and support teams in adopting modern testing approaches. The candidate should be comfortable working across application testing, API testing, and data validation while evaluating emerging technologies, including AI-assisted engineering tools. **Key Responsibilities** **Automation Strategy & Framework Development** - Design and implement scalable test automation frameworks. - Lead automation efforts across UI, API, data, and integration testing. - Establish automation standards, reusable libraries, and best practices. - Improve automation coverage, maintainability, and execution efficiency. - Mentor team members on automation and quality engineering practices. **Data Validation & Migration Testing** - Design automated data validation and reconciliation solutions. - Validate data migrations involving relational databases and cloud data platforms. - Automate schema validation, data quality checks, and source-to-target comparisons. - Support ETL/ELT testing and large-scale data validation initiatives. - Work with business and technical teams to define reconciliation strategies. **Software Engineering & DevOps Support** - Develop reusable automation utilities and framework components. - Support CI/CD integration and automated quality gates. - Perform code reviews and promote engineering best practices. - Collaborate with development teams to improve testability and automation adoption. **AI-Enabled Quality Engineering** - Utilize AI-assisted tools to improve productivity and test design. - Evaluate emerging AI capabilities within the testing lifecycle. - Support adoption of AI-assisted test generation and engineering solutions. - Contribute to innovation initiatives involving Generative AI and Quality Engineering. **Stakeholder Collaboration** - Participate in solution design discussions and technical reviews. - Work closely with business analysts, developers, architects, and product teams. - Translate business requirements into scalable testing solutions. - Support quality engineering initiatives across multiple projects. **Required Qualifications** **Experience** - 8-12 years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Engineering. - 4+ years of experience in automation framework design and implementation. - Experience working in enterprise-scale transformation or modernization programs. **Technical Skills:** **Test Automation** Experience with two or more automation technologies such as: - Playwright - Selenium - Tosca - UFT - Cypress - PyTest - Robot Framework **Strong understanding of:** - UI Automation - API Automation - Integration Testing - Regression Automation **Programming:** Hands-on experience in at least one of the following: - Python - Java - C# - JavaScript / TypeScript Ability to develop reusable framework components and automation utilities. **Ideal Candidate Profile:** - Have strong automation engineering fundamentals. - Be comfortable writing code and designing automation solutions. - Possess strong SQL and data validation capabilities. - Be adaptable across multiple test automation technologies. - Demonstrate curiosity and willingness to adopt AI-enabled engineering practices. - Communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
