TCS India presents excellent opportunities for IT professionals. **Role :- Automation Developer** **Experience:- 4-7 years** **Location:- Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Bangalore, Indore, Kolkata** **Required Technical Skill Set:- C# .Net Playwright Automation testing** **Must-Have:** - Coded Automation proficiency in Object-Oriented Code C# highly preferred - Visual Studio or similar IDE - Specflow / ReqNroll or similar BDD framework - JIRA/Azure DevOps (or equivalent) - Confluence (or equivalent) **Good-to-Have** - Playwright experience preferred - Wealth Management domain Knowledge - Prior experience in agile methodology **Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated C# .Net Automation Developers with 5+ years of experience.** - Test Automation Strategy & Best Practices – Ability to assess when to use automation vs. manual testing based on risk, ROI, and test stability. - API & Integration Testing – Hands-on experience with standard industry tools such as Postman - Risk-Based Testing Decisions – Ability to determine which tests should be automated (high-volume, regression, API) vs. which should remain manual (usability, exploratory, edge cases). - Test Maintenance & Scalability – Ensuring automation is sustainable by implementing best practices like self-healing tests, modular frameworks, and reusable test scripts. - Shift-Left Testing – Embedding automation early in development - Exploratory & Manual Testing Strategy – Understanding the value of manual testing in scenarios that require human intuition, such as UX, accessibility, and new feature validation - Agile & Scrum Experience – Active participation in Agile ceremonies - Excellence in soft skills including communication, collaboration and problem solving - 4+ yrs QE testing experience with a demonstrable track record on large greenfield projects
