**Company - Coforge** **Job Title: Automation Test Engineer Playwright** **Employment Type:** Full-Time **Job Summary** We are seeking a skilled **Automation Test Engineer with strong experience in Playwright** to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in modern test automation tools, CI/CD integration, and strong coding skills. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, develop, and maintain **automated test scripts using Playwright** - Build scalable and reusable **test automation frameworks** - Execute automated test suites and analyze test results - Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies - Perform **functional, regression, and end-to-end testing** - Integrate automation tests into **CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.)** - Identify, log, and track defects using tools like **JIRA** - Ensure application quality through continuous testing and automation best practices - Improve test coverage and reduce manual testing effort **Required Skills** - Strong hands-on experience with **Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript or Python)** - Proficiency in programming languages such as **JavaScript / TypeScript / Python / Java** - Experience with **API testing tools** (Postman, REST Assured) - Knowledge of **web technologies**: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DOM - Experience in **test frameworks** (Playwright Test, Jest, Mocha, pytest) - Familiarity with **version control systems** (Git) - Strong understanding of **SDLC and STLC** - Experience with **CI/CD tools** (Jenkins / Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions) - Knowledge of **cross-browser testing**
