**Role Summary:** We are seeking an experienced **Senior Automation Test Engineer** to lead end-to-end quality assurance and test automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Selenium, Playwright, and CI/CD practices, with a proven track record of designing and building automation frameworks from scratch. This role requires ownership of testing strategy, automation architecture, and quality assurance across the software development lifecycle.**Must-Have Skills** - Strong hands-on experience with **Selenium** - Strong hands-on experience with **Playwright** - Experience integrating automated tests within **CI/CD pipelines** **Preferred Skills** - Strong experience with **BDD (Behavior-Driven Development)** and **TDD (Test-Driven Development)** frameworks - Proven experience in **building and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch** - Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and Agile delivery practices - Experience with test automation strategy and framework architecture **Key Responsibilities:** - Own the **end-to-end testing lifecycle**, including planning, execution, reporting, and quality governance. - Design, develop, implement, and maintain scalable and reusable **automation frameworks**. - Create and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, and related tools. - Perform **system testing**, **integration testing**, regression testing, and release validation. - Define and execute comprehensive test strategies, including: - Risk-based testing - Acceptance criteria-based testing - Functional and non-functional testing approaches - Integrate automation suites into **CI/CD pipelines** to enable continuous testing and faster release cycles. - Produce, maintain, and enhance testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, execution reports, and framework documentation. - Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure quality objectives are met. - Monitor, track, and communicate testing progress, risks, defects, and quality metrics. - Mentor team members and drive best practices in automation and quality engineering. **Required Qualifications:** - Proven experience as a **Senior Automation Test Engineer** or similar role. - Expert knowledge of Selenium and Playwright. - Strong experience with CI/CD tools and continuous testing practices. - Demonstrated ability to build automation frameworks from the ground up. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and documentation skills.
