Educational Requirements Bachelor of Engineering,Master Of Technology Service Line Infosys Quality Engineering Responsibilities - Test Leadership StrategyOwn and drive System Testing (SIT) and Integration Testing activities across applications and servicesDefine system test strategy, test plans, and test approach for complex integrationsLead test execution, monitor progress, and ensure ontime delivery of test milestonesProvide regular status updates, risk assessment, and quality metrics to stakeholdersMentor and guide QA team members on best testing practicesAPI Testing DebuggingPerform and oversee API testing (REST/SOAP) to validate functionality, data integrity, and error handlingDebug API failures by analyzing logs, payloads, and backend integrationsValidate complex system flows involving BFFs, adapters, and downstream servicesCollaborate with developers to identify root causes and support defect resolutionService VirtualizationDesign and implement service virtualization / mocking to simulate dependent systemsUse tools such as Parasoft Service Virtualization, WireMock, or equivalent mocking toolsEnable early and independent testing by reducing environment and dependency constraintsMaintain and enhance virtual services for different test scenariosAutomation TestingLead and contribute to automation using Selenium WebDriver (UI testing)Support API automation using tools such as Parasoft SOAtest, Karate, or similar frameworksReview automation scripts, ensure reusability, and improve test coverageIntegrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)Manual / Functional TestingPerform and oversee manual and functional testing where automation is not feasibleDesign and review test cases, test scenarios, and test dataConduct regression testing and support UAT cyclesEnsure adherence to quality standards and best practices Additional Responsibilities - Opportunity to work on complex, largescale systemsHigh impact role influencing overall product qualityExposure to modern testing practices including API automation and virtualizationLeadership pathway within QA and Engineering functions Technical and Professional Requirements - Mandatory SkillsStrong experience in System Testing, Integration Testing, and Functional TestingHandson experience with API Testing (REST/SOAP)Experience with service virtualization / mocking tools(Parasoft preferred; WireMock or similar acceptable)Automation experience using Selenium WebDriverStrong understanding of test design techniques and defect managementExperience working in Agile / Scrum environments Good to Have - API automation using Parasoft SOAtest / Karate - CI/CD integration experience (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) - Exposure to performance or nonfunctional testing - Domain experience in Banking, Healthcare, Telecom, or Enterprise systems Leadership Soft Skills - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills - Ability to make qualitydriven decisions under tight timelines - Hands-on mindset with leadership capability - Good analytical, debugging, and problemsolving skills Preferred Skills - Technology->Automated Testing->Automated Testing - ALL - Technology->Embedded Software->Test Tools->Parasoft - Technology->API Testing->RestAssured
