Automation Tester - Playwright & TypeScript

Job description

**Key Responsibilities** - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and TypeScript. - Build and enhance scalable automation frameworks for web applications. - Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing. - Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and ensure adequate test coverage. - Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools. - Analyze test execution results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for issue resolution. - Develop reusable automation components and testing utilities. - Perform API validation and testing for backend services. - Maintain automation repositories and follow version control best practices using Git. - Continuously improve automation processes, framework stability, and testing efficiency. - Document test scenarios, automation scripts, and testing standards. **Required Skills** - 5+ years of experience in Automation Testing. - Strong hands-on experience with Playwright. - Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript. - Experience developing automation frameworks for web applications. - Experience with test frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or similar. - Understanding of HTML, CSS, DOM, and REST APIs. - Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions. - Strong knowledge of Git and version control practices. - Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills. **Preferred Skills** - Cross-browser testing experience. - Mobile web automation testing. - Experience with BrowserStack or Sauce Labs. - API Automation Testing. - Performance Testing exposure. - Agile and Scrum project experience. **Desired Candidate Profile** - Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work independently and in Agile teams. - Focus on quality, automation, and continuous improvement. - Passion for building scalable and maintainable automation frameworks.
