**Roles** **and** **Responsibilities:** - **Automation** **Strategy:** Lead automation initiatives, develop and maintain test frameworks, and integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline Advocate best automation practices and mentor junior testers. - **Test** **Planning** **and** **Execution:** Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, and API testing. Maintain test suites and ensure high coverage of critical business features - **Collaboration** **and** **Leadership:** Work closely with **QA** **leads,** **developers,** **PMs,** **and** **DevOps** **teams** to drive automation efforts. Lead onshore/offshore QA teams and manage day-to-day testing operations - **Analysis** **and** **Reporting:** Analyze technical and functional requirements, review logs, debug failures, and maintain defect tracking systems. Provide accurate reporting of automated test results and quality metrics - **Agile** **and** **Continuous** **Improvement:** Participate in **Agile/Scrum** **ceremonies**, review code and test scripts, and continuously improve automation frameworks and testing processes **Preferred candidate profile** : A strong educational background for a Selenium automation testing candidate typically includes a degree in computer science, IT, or related fields, along with additional courses or certifications in Java and automation testing to enhance employability A preferred candidate for Java Selenium automation testing with 3-10 years of experience should have strong expertise in Java, Selenium WebDriver, test automation frameworks, API testing, and Agile development, combined with leadership and collaboration capabilities.
