Roles: • Product Design, 3D CAD Modelling & Engineering Drawings. • Generation of 2D Manufacturing Drawings & Drawing Releases • Vehicle Packaging, Layout and Feasibility Studies • CAD-Based Design Validation & continuous design Improvement Responsibility: • Lead End to End design, Dwg activity to meet program deliverables & milestones • Drive CAD-based design validation, packaging & fitment reviews • Ensure compliance with applicable standards, specifications & design guidelines • Monitor and resolve design issues through Design reviews & Past learning • Coordinate with cross-functional teams & stakeholders for timely deliverables • Manage engineering modifications, risk mitigation and continuous design improvement initiatives. Competency Requirements Technical/ Functional: • Experience in Automotive Product Design, Layout & Dwg making • Good understanding of Automotive Systems, Components & Interfaces. • Knowledge of Vehicle-Level Requirements, Packaging & Integration. • Experience in Design Reviews, Issue Resolution and Cross-Functional Coordination. • Proficiency in CAD Tools, Engineering Drawings and Design Documentation. • Knowledge of Automotive Standards, Regulations & Compliance Requirements.
