**Role\\*\\* Design and Release Engineer** **Required Technical Skill Set\\*\\* UG NX & Teamcenter - Product Engineering, Design & Release of Tractor sub systems** **Location of Requirement TCS- Bangalore, India** **Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)** **Must-Have\\*\\*** **1. Product Engineering / Design & Release of tractor components such as hydraulics, sheet metal, cabin, operator stations, linkages, and electrical systems. a. Mechanical/ Mechatronics/ Electromechanical/ Electrical Engineering degree or similar. b. Experience in the automotive / tractor industry or product engineering design, validation and engineering projects development with OEM and/or tier 1/2 supplier. c. Thorough understanding of vehicle functions for general vehicle architecture and integration. d. Understanding of typical automotive design, development, manufacturing and quality processes like Digital Mock-up (DMU), Design for Assembly (DFA). Design for Service (DFS), and Design for Manufacturing (DFM). e. Familiarity with Google Suite and Microsoft Office tools 2. Computer Aided Designs a. Familiarity with cad systems/ NX parametric solid modelling and Teamcenter b. Experience in the design of complex hydraulic tubings & adaptors, sheet- metal, plastics, wiring harness and machined components. c. Ability to apply GD&T and perform component stacks d. Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes e. Strong organization, planning and data management skills f. Strong written and oral communications to provide guidance, participate / contribute to design and packaging meetings.** **Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role** **1 Conduct part design reviews and support tool development at onsite/offshore facility** **2 Complete DRBTR documentation for tractor units that completed assigned testing** **3 Investigate issues found in DRBTR inspection and test failures at onsite/offshore facility** **4 Work with client/supplier-based workshops to make required prototypes and bridge parts urgently required based on programs needs** **5 Supports all the dry runs, and managements PPDRs (pre-production design reviews)** **6 Conduct technical reviews and resolve vehicle integration issues**
