We are seeking a detail-oriented **Treasury controller** to join the balance sheet team, The role will be responsible for producing daily and weekly balance sheet reporting, performing variance analysis, coordinating with the offshore Cognizant team, and supporting onshore Controllers with timely and accurate reporting. The successful candidate will work closely with Controllers, Front Office, COO teams, and other Finance stakeholders to investigate movements, answer queries, and help maintain a strong reporting control environment. **Key Responsibilities** - Produce daily and weekly balance sheet reports accurately and within required deadlines. - Perform variance analysis across balance sheet balances, movements, adjustments, and key reporting drivers. - Work closely with the offshore Cognizant team to support report production, issue resolution, process handoffs, and daily delivery. - Partner with onshore Controllers to investigate balance sheet movements, prepare commentary, and resolve reporting questions. - Field and respond to questions from Front Office and COO teams relating to balance sheet reporting, variances, adjustments, and process status. - Review reporting outputs for completeness, accuracy, and consistency before distribution. - Identify, escalate, and track reporting issues, breaks, late submissions, and data quality exceptions. - Support process improvements, automation opportunities, and control enhancements across the balance sheet reporting workflow. - Assist with ad hoc analysis, management information requests, and project work related to balance sheet reporting. **Skills and Experience** - 8–10 years of experience in Product Control, Financial Control, Valuation Control, Risk, Treasury, or Capital Markets Finance. - Strong analytical skills with experience reviewing balances, explaining movements, and performing variance analysis. - Strong Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets, reconciliations, and reporting outputs. - Ability to manage daily and weekly reporting deadlines in a controlled and organized manner. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to respond clearly to Front Office, COO, Controller, and Finance stakeholder questions. - Experience working with offshore teams or shared service partners is preferred. - High attention to detail, strong follow-through, and a control-focused mindset. - Ability to identify issues, escalate appropriately, and support continuous improvement of reporting processes.
