**Roles and Responsibilities :** - 8 or more years of experience in AWS cloud engineering or platform engineering with direct production accountability. Strong hands-on experience with AWS AppSync including authentication mode management, quota management, monitoring, and custom domain configuration. Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL Serverless v2 including ACU scaling, RDS Proxy configuration, Performance Insights, and connection management. Deep knowledge of AWS IAM including JSON policy authoring, trust relationship design, permission boundaries, service control policies, and condition key usage. Strong knowledge of AWS networking including VPC design, multi-AZ subnet topology, security groups, NACLs, and NAT gateway. Experience with AWS WAF, AWS Config, CloudTrail, and Secrets Manager for security and compliance. Strong experience with CloudWatch including custom metrics, composite alarms, Logs Insights, and production dashboard design. Hands-on experience with AWS X-Ray for distributed tracing and latency analysis. Experience with Amazon Cognito User Pool configuration, OAuth flows, MFA, and app client setup. Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation including module design and environment-separated deployment. Experience designing disaster recovery architectures in AWS including cross-region replication, Route 53 failover, and documented RTO and RPO. Scripting skills in Python or Bash for operational automation and runbook tooling.
