Job Description AWS Migration Engineer / AWS Solution Architect **Role:** AWS Migration Engineer / AWS Solution Architect **Experience:6-8** Years **Location:** Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai and Pune **Job Summary** We are looking for an experienced **AWS Migration Engineer** with strong expertise in planning, designing, and executing large-scale migrations from on-premises environments to AWS Cloud. The ideal candidate should possess deep knowledge of AWS migration methodologies, cloud architecture, security, networking, and infrastructure modernization. The role requires hands-on migration execution, architecture design, stakeholder management, and technical leadership. **Required Skills (Must-Have)** - Expertise in AWS Cloud Migration using **7 Rs Migration Strategy**. - Strong experience in **Re-Host** and **Re-Platform** migration approaches. - Experience designing target-state AWS architectures. - Hands-on experience with AWS migration tools: - AWS Application Migration Service (MGN) - CloudEndure - AWS DMS - AWS SCT - AWS Server Migration Service (SMS) - Experience defining migration strategies, assessment, and execution plans. - Strong knowledge of AWS Networking and Security services. - Hands-on experience with **Terraform** and/or **AWS CloudFormation**. - Expertise in designing and developing AWS Cloud-native solutions. - Strong understanding of AWS Well-Architected Framework principles. - Experience in on-premises to AWS database migrations. - Experience with AWS VMware Cloud (AWS VMC). **Good-to-Have Skills** - AWS Lambda, ECS, EKS, IAM and other AWS PaaS services. - Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using AWS DevOps tools. - Containerization experience (Docker/Kubernetes). - Multi-cloud deployment experience. - Windows and Linux Administration. **Desired Competencies** - Strong cloud architecture and migration expertise. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Leadership and mentoring capabilities. - Ability to drive complex migration programs independently. **Preferred Certifications:** - AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate/Professional - AWS Certified Migration Specialist (Preferred) - AWS Certified DevOps Engineer (Good to Have) **Looking for a seasoned AWS Migration Engineer who can lead end-to-end cloud migration initiatives, design robust AWS architectures, and successfully transform enterprise workloads from on-premises environments to AWS Cloud.**
