**Job Title: Axway API Developer** **Experience:2 to 4 Years** **Location:-** Remote **Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced **Axway API Developer** to design, develop, implement, and support enterprise API solutions using the Axway API Management platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in API development, API Gateway configuration, security, integration, and RESTful services, with experience in enterprise integration environments. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, develop, and implement APIs using the Axway API Management platform. - Configure and manage Axway API Gateway, API Manager, and related components. - Develop RESTful APIs and integrate backend systems with enterprise applications. - Implement API security policies including OAuth 2.0, JWT, SSL/TLS, API Keys, and Mutual TLS. - Configure API routing, transformations, mediation, throttling, caching, and traffic management. - Monitor API performance, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize API reliability. - Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and development teams to deliver scalable integration solutions. - Create and maintain API documentation using OpenAPI (Swagger). - Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to API governance and best practices. - Support deployment activities across Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments. - Ensure high availability, security, and performance of API services. **Required Skills** - 5–8 years of IT experience with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience in Axway API Management. - Strong experience with: - Axway API Gateway - Axway API Manager - API Development and API Security - Strong knowledge of REST APIs and Web Services. - Experience with JSON, XML, XSLT, SOAP, and REST protocols. - Good understanding of OAuth 2.0, JWT, SSL/TLS, SAML, API Keys, and authentication/authorization mechanisms. - Experience in API lifecycle management and API governance. - Hands-on experience with OpenAPI (Swagger) specifications. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools such as Git. - Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting. - Experience in troubleshooting API performance and production issues. **Good to Have** - Experience with Java or Spring Boot. - Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker. - Exposure to Azure, AWS, or GCP. - Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Grafana, or ELK. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology. - Experience working with enterprise integration platforms and microservices architecture. **Soft Skills** - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment. - Good documentation and presentation skills. **Education** - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
