About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Azure Administrator (L1/L2) to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing Microsoft Azure infrastructure, supporting production environments, and resolving incidents related to Azure services. The role requires expertise in Azure IaaS, networking, operating system administration, and ticket-based support while ensuring high availability and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities • Manage, monitor, and maintain Microsoft Azure infrastructure and cloud resources. • Provide L1/L2 operational support for Azure environments, including incident resolution and service request fulfillment. • Administer Azure IaaS resources such as Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Storage Accounts, and Load Balancers. • Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Azure networking components, including: • Azure Firewall • Application Gateway • Virtual Networks (VNets) • Network Security Groups (NSGs) • VPN Gateway • Support and manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments. • Perform operating system administration for: • Windows Server • Linux (RHEL and SLES) • Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement corrective actions. • Handle service requests, incidents, and problem tickets through ITSM/ticketing tools while adhering to SLA timelines. • Collaborate with cross-functional infrastructure, networking, and security teams to resolve complex issues. • Perform system patching, health checks, and routine maintenance activities. • Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks. • Participate in on-call support and shift rotations as required. Required Skills • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure Administration. • Strong understanding of Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). • Experience managing Azure Networking services, including: • Azure Firewall • Application Gateway • Virtual Networks • NSGs • VPN Gateway • Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). • Strong Windows Server administration skills. • Linux administration experience with: • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) • SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) • Experience working with ITSM/ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, BMC Remedy, or similar platforms. • Knowledge of incident management, service requests, and change management processes. • Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Azure Portal. • Good understanding of networking concepts, DNS, TCP/IP, and security best practices. Preferred Qualifications • Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) certification. • Basic knowledge of PowerShell or Azure CLI. • Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or ARM templates) is an added advantage. • Understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
