Job Title: Azure Cloud Architect Designation: Associate Vice President Location: Pune Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Cloud Architect specializing in applications to join our dynamic architecture team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Azure cloud services, particularly in application architecture, design, and deployment. This role is critical in driving our cloud strategy and ensuring that our applications are optimized for performance, scalability, and security in the Azure environment. Key Responsibilities: • Design and implement robust application architectures on the Azure cloud platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define application requirements and translate them into technical specifications • Lead the development of cloud-native applications, leveraging Azure services to enhance functionality and user experience • Conduct architectural reviews and provide guidance on best practices for application development and deployment in Azure • Monitor and optimize application performance, ensuring high availability and reliability in the cloud environment • Stay updated with the latest Azure features and services and evaluate their applicability to our architecture • Provide mentorship and support to junior architects and development teams in Azure application design and implementation • Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and continuously improve application architecture and performance Required qualifications, capabilities & skills • Strong expertise in Azure Cloud services, specifically in application architecture and deployment • Proficient in designing and implementing cloud-native applications using Azure technologies • In-depth knowledge of Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and related services • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in the Azure environment • Strong understanding of security best practices in cloud application development • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization technologies • Experience with Azure DevOps and related tools for project management and collaboration • Knowledge of database services in Azure, such as Azure SQL Database and Cosmos DB • Understanding of application performance monitoring and optimization tools • Experience in working with Agile methodologies and frameworks • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field • Relevant certifications in Azure architecture or cloud technologies are highly desirable • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
