Learn more at cgi.com Job Title: Devops / Cloud Engineer Position: Senior System Engineer Experience: 4 to 6 Yrs Category: IT Infrastructure Main location: Bangalore/Chennai Position ID: J0526-0056 Employment Type: Full Time Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience. Key Responsibilities - 5–7 years of experience in Platform/DevOps/SRE/Cloud Engineering roles. - Strong hands-on experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes-based container platforms. - Experience with Azure Red Hat OpenShift and Azure cloud services (networking, IAM, monitoring, security). - Proven expertise in managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions. - Experience with GitOps practices and tools such as Argo CD. - Hands-on knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, ARM/Bicep, Ansible) and automation practices. - Strong understanding of containerization (Docker/Podman), microservices, and cloud-native architectures. - Experience in migrating workloads from on-prem OpenShift to Azure environments is preferred. - Proficiency in scripting (Python/Bash/PowerShell) with strong troubleshooting and system administration (Linux/Windows) skills. - Ability to collaborate across teams, ensure security/governance compliance, and manage complex production environments. Must have skills : OpenShift & Kubernetes, Azure (ARO), CI/CD & GitOps (Jenkins/Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions/Argo CD), Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/Ansible), containerization (Docker), scripting (Python/Bash/PowerShell), cloud-native architecture, troubleshooting, and security/governance.
