Job description

**Essential Skills:** - **Experience in designing, developing, and implementing cloud and hybrid Platform solutions, ideally Azure.** - Can demonstrate deep knowledge in setting up Azure Enterprise Scale Landing Zones and hands on experience with Microsofts Cloud Adoption Framework. - Prior experience in roles such as Azure administration, development, or Azure-focused DevOps*.* - Previous experience of integrating into Communities of Practice/Squads. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines. - Experience in agile methodologies and CI/CD principles and practices. - Experience in infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Azure DevOps, and Gitlab. - Adept at collaborating in diverse teams, with excellent communication skills. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. **Preferred Skills and Experience:** - Hands on experience with Windows/Linux Servers. - Proactive incident management with Azure-based troubleshooting. - **Knowledge of or with Azure Data Services & or operated as a Data Engineer/DBA/Data Scientists.** - Sound understanding of financial markets. - **Prior experience in one or more:- Azure Machine Learning, Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Open AI Services, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Fabric, Azure Purview, Power BI, Azure SQL** **Detailed Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with Azure platform engineers/data engineers, encouraging best practices in Azure administration, development, and DevOps processes. - Engineer and optimize hybrid Azure Platform solutions with an initial data focus. Not limited to just data services and would need to integrate into surrounding and connectivity services. - Collaborate with Azure Platform engineers, architects, and other stakeholders in the implementation of an Azure Data & AI Services. - Provide expertise in IT operations areas, such as data governance and security aligning with the overall Azure Platform strategy. - Participate in Project related activities to meet operational needs. - To ensure knowledge articles of all supported systems are continually updated. - To provide a high level of customer service, whilst working under pressure. - To follow and adhere to established Incident Management, Change Management and Problem Management procedures.
