Azure Migration Specialist - Cloud Transformation & Infrastructure

Job description

**Key Responsibilities** - Plan and execute migration of on-premises workloads to Azure using Azure migration tools and best practices. - Design migration strategies utilizing: - Azure Blob Storage - Azure File Shares - Azure Managed Disks - Perform data migration and replication using: - Azure NetApp Files - NetApp Cloud Volumes ONTAP (CVO) - Conduct application discovery, dependency mapping, and workload assessment activities. - Implement Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) practices for governance, landing zones, and cloud readiness. - Develop and maintain automation workflows using: - Azure DevOps - GitHub Actions - GitLab - Containerize workloads using: - Docker - Podman - Support migration and deployment of workloads into Kubernetes and AKS environments. - Develop scripts and automation solutions using PowerShell, Python, and Bash. - Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using: - Terraform - Bicep - ARM Templates - Troubleshoot migration issues involving networking, storage, compute, and application layers. - Collaborate with cloud, security, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure successful migration outcomes. **Must-Have Skills** Azure Migration & Cloud Transformation - Strong experience with: - Azure Migrate - Azure Storage Services - Enterprise cloud migration programs - Experience performing: - Workload assessments - Migration planning - Dependency analysis Azure Storage & NetApp - Hands-on experience with: - Azure Blob Storage - Azure File Shares - Managed Disks - Azure NetApp Files - NetApp Cloud Volumes ONTAP (CVO) Infrastructure Automation - Practical experience with: - Terraform - Bicep - ARM Templates - Strong understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code principles DevOps & CI/CD - Experience with: - Azure DevOps - GitHub Actions - GitLab - Experience implementing CI/CD and deployment automation Containers & Kubernetes - Hands-on experience with: - Docker - Podman - Kubernetes - AKS Scripting & Automation - Strong scripting skills in: - PowerShell - Python - Bash **Good-to-Have Skills** - Experience with: - Azure Landing Zones - Enterprise-scale cloud governance - Knowledge of: - ExpressRoute - VPN connectivity - Hybrid cloud architectures - Exposure to: - FinOps and Azure cost optimization - Certifications such as: - AZ-104 - AZ-305 - AZ-700 - NetApp Certifications
