The ideal candidate is a seasoned IT professional who can **drive Azure cloud initiatives** while ensuring the stability and security of Windows server environments. In this senior role, you will oversee a large administration team, architect solutions, and act as the go-to technical expert all while collaborating with stakeholders to align infrastructure strategy with business needs. This position demands both **leadership acumen** and deep **technical skills in Microsoft Azure and Windows** systems. **Key Responsibilities\\*** **Experience & Leadership**: Minimum 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least several years in a technical lead or management role. Proven experience supervising large technical teams (e.g., guiding 20+ members) and delivering results in a complex, fast-paced environment. **Azure Cloud Expertise**: In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and architecture. Hands-on experience with Azure IaaS (virtual machines, virtual networks, storage accounts, Azure AD/Entra ID) and familiarity with PaaS offerings. Ability to design and optimize Azure environments for performance, cost, and security. Experience with Azure administration tools (Portal, PowerShell, CLI) and automation in Azure is essential. **Windows Systems Expertise**: Strong Windows Server administration skills (Windows Server 2016/2019/2022). Proficient in Active Directory Domain Services, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, file/print services, and related core infrastructure. Experience managing virtualization platforms (Hyper-V and/or VMware) and integrating on-prem environments with cloud services. Solid understanding of high-availability and clustering for Windows environments. **Stakeholder Collaboration:** Act as the primary technical liaison for the infrastructure domain. Work closely with cross-functional teams – including application development, network/security, and project management – to align infrastructure efforts with business needs. Communicate regularly with senior management and clients on infrastructure status, project updates, risks, and achievements. Provide technical insights and recommendations in planning meetings and ensure stakeholder requirements are met by the team’s deliverables. **Preferred candidate profile**
