Python (Strong) Python 5+ with object-oriented design patterns Working with large, layered Python codebases not just scripting Pydantic v2 for data modelling and validation lxml for XML/HTML parsing and generation pytest including property-based and snapshot testing patterns pytest with mocking (monkeypatch + MagicMock) HTML/CSS for Document Generation Producing pixel-accurate print layouts from HTML/CSS CSS that renders correctly in WeasyPrint's headless environment Handlebars templating ( .hbs ) — layouts, partials, and custom helper functions AWS Core Services Lambda — handlers, event sources, layers, environment variables, X-Ray tracing S3 — object storage, event triggers, metadata and tagging SQS / SNS — message-driven architectures, fan-out patterns DynamoDB — reading and writing items, understanding partition/sort key design Secrets Manager — retrieving secrets at runtime SES — sending transactional emails with attachments Step Functions — understanding state machine invocation of Lambda functions
