**Role & responsibilities** **Strong skills in Veritas/Arcserve/Google Actifio/TSM/StoreOne Administration (L2)** - Good understanding of design, implementation and troubleshooting for various backup technologies - In-depth understanding of day-day backup administration tasks such as management and monitoring of jobs, reporting, escalation of failed jobs, scheduling adhoc backups, capacity utilization, maintaining audit trails etc - Manage and maintain the backup systems - Experience with deduplication storage systems, with Data Domain is a must - Should be able to co-ordinate with respective OEMs to ensure SLAs and during break fix - Performing emergency data and system recovery from backups for Linux, Unix, Virtual, and Windows servers - Provide 24x7 IT operations support in a team on a rotation and on-call basis - Should be proficient in handling large and heterogeneous setup with knowledge on troubleshooting of issues Should possess good communication skills
