**Educational Requirements** BCA,Master Of Technology,Bachelor Of Technology,Bachelor of Engineering,BTech,Bachelor Of Science,Master Of Engineering **Service Line** Cloud & Infrastructure Services **Responsibilities** We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Backup Architect to lead the design, optimization, and governance of backup infrastructure across hybrid environments. The role involves driving automation, disaster recovery (DR) testing, and continuous service improvement initiatives across platforms such as Commvault, Azure Backup, and Veeam. The candidate will play a critical role in ensuring data protection, resilience, and compliance for large-scale enterprise environments. - Design and manage enterprise backup and recovery architecture across hybrid (on-prem & cloud) environments - Drive optimization strategies to enhance performance, scalability, and cost efficiency - Lead Disaster Recovery (DR) planning, testing, and execution - Implement automation frameworks using scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash) - Ensure adherence to data protection policies, governance, and compliance standards - Manage and support platforms including Commvault, Azure Backup, and Veeam - Oversee multi-petabyte, cross-region backup environments - Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning - Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams for integrated solutions - Drive continuous service improvement (CSI) initiatives - Provide technical leadership and mentoring to operations teams - Ensure alignment with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management) **Additional Responsibilities:** - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Excellent communication and stakeholder management - Ability to drive strategic initiatives and governance frameworks - Experience in handling enterprise-scale environments - Leadership mindset with mentoring capability **Technical and Professional Requirements:** Expert-level knowledge of: - Commvault architecture - Azure Backup services - Veeam Enterprise Plus / Cloud Connect Strong understanding of: - Storage systems (SAN/NAS) - Virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) - Networking fundamentals Proven experience managing large-scale (multi-petabyte) environments - Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash. - Experience in backup optimization, DR strategy, and automation - Knowledge of cloud-based backup and cross-region replication **Preferred Skills:** Technology->Backup Administration->Backup Technologies Technology->Microsoft Technologies->Windows PowerShell Technology->Cloud Platform->Azure Core services->Azure Virtual Machines Technology->Backup Administration->Commvault Technology->Cloud Security->Microsoft Azure - Data Security->Azure Storage Encryption Technology->Cloud Security->Microsoft Azure - Identity Management->Azure Active Directory **Generic Skills:** Technology->OpenSystem->Python - OpenSystem->Python
