Job description

**Role & responsibilities:** **Where you will make an impact** - Act as a key contributor to our Banner Student implementations, able to lead and influence client teams at all levels. - Provide advice and guidance on industry best practices and recommended practices for implementing Banner Student in the US and abroad, working with leadership and staff in colleges and universities to ensure the Banner Student solution is implemented & configured to best align to industry best practices and business needs. - Support customers as they modernize from their existing student information systems or processes, applications, and procedures to Banner Student processes through guided onboarding efforts and ongoing consulting. - Provide change management advice as appropriate. Perform and document business process review and analysis of client business requirements. - Gather and document business requirements, discuss adoption of recommended practices, and brief the implementation team on requirements. - Work collaboratively with clients to derive maximum value from the Banner Student solution, in conjunction with the rest of the Ellucian SaaS Platform. - Collaborate with existing Student consulting resources to support continuous improvement of the consulting practice: refine delivery and engagement materials, facilitate team-wide or group presentations and knowledge-sharing activities, and participate in other team activities that drive continuous improvement of the delivery of Student services. - Take an active role in identifying, communicating, and advancing internal process improvement suggestions/initiatives. - Participate in Ellucian company-wide cross-departmental initiatives as required. **What you will bring** - Demonstrated experience working in field of Student Registration and/or Student Services. Role(s) in a Student Services field should have general understanding of higher education standards and practices. - Demonstrated experience working in a training or consulting context (assisted in team trainings, system implementation, or other collaborative learning/teaching experience). - Must have the ability to explain solutions to diverse customers, and ensure they are able to use applications and functionality effectively to accomplish their work. - This position requires enthusiasm and energy; willingness to learn and adapt quickly; excellent written and verbal communication skills; and previous experience conducting training sessions. - The successful candidate must be a disciplined self-starter, able to work on multiple projects concurrently, and must be able to meet or exceed deadlines for customer and internal deliverables. - The successful candidate must also be able to collaborate effectively and willingly and must be an engaged and interactive member of a large and very experienced team. - Proven ability to use appropriate skills in the areas of; project coordination, multi-tasking, prioritization of demands, conflict management, decision making tools & techniques, group discussion, training, facilitation, decision-making, communication, and time management. - Demonstrated experience in consulting and/or training and development; system implementation, and requirements gathering is beneficial. - Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills. - Proven ability to work independently or as part of a team. - Experience with the Banner Student Information System is beneficial.
