The BDM will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing and expanding relationships with existing clients, and driving sales of the company’s financial products and services. Daily activities include prospecting and meeting potential customers, understanding their financial needs, presenting suitable product solutions, and achieving individual and team sales targets. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams for smooth onboarding, documentation, and service delivery, as well as tracking market trends and competitor activities. The BDM will prepare regular reports, maintain an updated sales pipeline, and participate in local marketing or outreach initiatives to strengthen the company’s presence in the region. **Qualifications** - Strong sales and business development skills, including lead generation, client acquisition, and relationship management. - Solid understanding of financial products and services (e.g., investment, insurance, lending, or wealth management) and ability to explain them clearly to customers. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term client relationships. - Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, including assessing customer needs and matching them with appropriate solutions. - Comfort with targets, performance metrics, and CRM or sales tracking tools; ability to maintain accurate records and reports. - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; relevant certifications in financial services are an advantage. - Prior experience in financial services sales, retail banking, insurance, or related domains is preferred. - Ability to work on-site in Kolkata, with flexibility to travel locally for client meetings and market development.
