Job Responsibilities JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Serves as the team leader for assigned projects in Biometrics Optimization. Assists in initiatives and idea development to enable and support optimal end-to-end delivery of Biometrics projects. • Assists in development, review and refinement of Biometrics Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions and corresponding Forms and Templates that reflect the clinical research industry regulations. • Assists in Biometrics training material development, maintenance, quality reviews and oversight, delivering targeted training materials and programs for Biometrics BU staff. • Manages or assists in the maintenance of training certifications in the assignment of corresponding training requirements/activities and implementation within the company’s Learning Management System. Leads the Certification Management Committee, responsible for assignment of guidance • documents/training courses to Essential Functional, Just in Time and System Certifications for Data Operations, including Training Liaison role and facilitation of monthly Functional Council reviews. • Supports the lifecycle management of documentation generated and maintained to support the Biometrics BU. • Independently prepares information for training program and/or team meetings. Leads/presents prepared information at meetings. Reviews and approves information from team members for meetings and updates associated training materials accordingly. • Assists with continuous improvement of processes with Biometrics and the company’s Leadership to ensure an integrated and aligned approach across the Company. • Assists in the communication of Biometrics Optimization plans and priorities for procedural documentation, training development, and maintenance. • Assists other non-departmental training initiatives and/or presents training courses to assigned departments, as required. • Supports the achievement of Biometrics BU financial targets. • Maintains current professional knowledge within the clinical research industry as a ‘value add’ within the Biometrics BU. • Actively manages and mentors other Biometrics Optimization staff in general team leadership and management skills, project management skills and internal processes in support of team initiatives. • Line management responsibilities for staff members: For direct and indirect reports, may participate and direct activities related to department staff operations such as interviewing and selection, professional development, performance management, and employee counseling and separations. Approves courses of action on salary administration, interviewing and selection, terminations, professional development, performance appraisals, job description preparation, and employee counseling. Works with and advises staff on administrative policies and procedures, technical problems, priorities and methods. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS (please indicate if ‘preferred’) • BA/BS degree in the science/health care field, plus extensive experience in an operational clinical trials environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience that provide the skills and knowledge necessary to perform the job. • Supporting work transitions from global locations to India through structured planning, governance, and execution oversight. • Driving end-to-end project governance across multiple studies and Biometrics functions. • Monitoring project timelines, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and action plans to ensure successful delivery. • Tracking key delivery and operational metrics, including project health, milestone adherence, resource utilization, capacity, forecasting, and financial performance. • Preparing executive dashboards and governance reports to provide leadership with clear visibility into portfolio performance, risks, and opportunities. • Standardizing project management processes, reporting, and best practices across the Biometrics organisation including regular governance cadence • Experience in a Contract Research Organization or Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology company is preferred. • Experience working in a matrix-structured environment with multiple product lines is essential
