**Role & responsibilities:** Outline the day-to-day responsibilities for this role. 10 Years of relevant experience in civil/structural design with exposure to railway bridge design projects Analyses issues and breaks them down into their component parts. Makes systematic and rational judgments based on relevant information. Organizes and schedules events, activities, and resources. Sets up and monitors timescales and plans. Ability to lead a design team and guide them through the process of design and approval. Ensure optimal design through continuous learning. Delivery Focus: Plans timely to deliver as per schedule. Ensures accuracy and timeliness of outputs. Anticipates any possible roadblocks that might come in the way of delivery and fixes them in order to meet timelines. **Cross Functional Teamwork:** Takes efforts to understand the impact of his actions on other departments. Treats and expects other departments as internal customers. Regularly interacts with other departments. **Ownership and Accountability:** Does not pass the buck. Takes ownership of his / her responsibility area. Owns up an assignment and makes all the efforts to overcome the obstacles. Ensures delivery of his target instead of waiting for others to finish their part. **Cost & Profitability Focus:** Plans timely to achieve targets within budgeted cost. Comes up with innovative ways to increase profitability by way of seeking additional workforce/ revenue on the same project to increase margins. Focuses only on must do expenditures **Preferred candidate profile:** Specify required role expertise, previous job experience, or relevant certifications. **Proficiency in structural analysis and design software:** **Should have knowledge on STAAD.Pro, ETABS, MIDAS, AdSec, IRC, IRS, IS Codes and Railway Standards.** **Execution team in Railway business, Designers from other consultants**
