Business Systems Analyst - Bengaluru, Karnataka, India - Full-time - Employment Type: Regular (PERM) - Remote Work Available: No **Job Description** Supports Supply Chain by executing defined analysis, system support, and data validation activities to ensure process clarity, data accuracy, and reliable delivery, while building strong end-to-end SCM capability under guidance. **Core Responsibilities** • Document and analyze business requirements, including AS-IS / TO-BE process mapping and functional specifications, with traceability. • Partner with SCM business teams and IT to clarify requirements and support system design, configuration, and controlled changes. • Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), log and retest defects, and support go-live and hypercare activities. • Validate master data, transactional data, and SCM reports (Backlog, WIP, Forecast, Order Confirmation) for accuracy and completeness. • Maintain process documentation, test evidence, and training materials, supporting user readiness and adoption. • Support adherence to data quality, governance, and control standards across SCM systems. **Performance Expectations** • Delivers assigned work with high quality, accuracy, and timeliness. • Operates on well-defined tasks with senior review. • Proactively escalates risks, issues, and data inconsistencies. • Demonstrates continuous learning and growing independence within assigned scope. **Qualifications** **Skills & Experience** • 1–3 years of experience in Business Analyst, Business Systems, or Operations roles. • Working understanding of SCM planning, manufacturing, and execution processes. • Exposure to ERP or planning systems (SAP S/4HANA preferred). • Strong Excel, reporting, and data validation skills. • Clear communicator; detail-oriented, disciplined, and receptive to feedback. • Effective in global, cross-functional environments. • Familiarity with requirements documentation, defect tracking, and collaboration tools is an advantage. Qualifications • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering (or equivalent) from a reputed, high-ranking institution, with strong academic performance and demonstrated analytical and logical skills. • Project Management certification is a plus. **Additional Information** Key Relationships • SCM business teams, IT, Finance, Sales, Customer Service, Engineering, internal customers, and external suppliers.
