**Roles and Responsibilities :** 1. Sourcing activities, New Supplier Identification & Part Development activities 2. Price finalization of Chassis Components, Air Con & HVAC, Controls, Pedals & Levers, Spare tire carrier, Tool & Jack Assy, Anti-vibration engine components (engine mounting brackets). 3. Development of Chassis Components, Air Con & HVAC, Pedals, Levers, Spare tire carrier, Tool & Jack Assy, Anti-vibration engine components 4. Vendor process/quality stabilization & sign off the parts for mass production. 5. Planning & enhancing vendor capacity. 6. Vendor Management & Stabilization of vendor in terms of quality, delivery. 7. Yearly cost reduction activities. 8. Purchase order management, Localization activities. 9. Coordinate with cross functional team to ensure smooth flawless launch & meeting production requirements 10. Prepare reports on purchases like supplier & developmental issues, bench marking, price analyses, price reduction proposals, VAVE. **Job Requirements :** - 6-14 years of experience in buying or procurement roles within the automobile industry. - Strong understanding of chassis design, HVAC controls, price negotiation techniques, and tools used in procurement processes. - Proven track record of achieving cost reductions through effective supplier development programs.
