**About Position:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced C Developer and should have hands-on experience in application development, debugging, performance optimization, and working in Linux/Unix environments. * **Role: C Developer** * **Location: All Persistent Location** * **Experience: 5 to 7 years** * **Job Type: Full-Time Employment** **What You'll Do:** * Develop, enhance, debug, and optimize applications using C and C . * Design and implement efficient data structures and algorithms based on business and technical requirements. * Work with STL components such as vectors, maps, sets, and algorithms for application development. * Analyze and improve code performance considering time and space complexity. * Build, compile, and manage C applications using tools such as Makefiles and CMake. * Work on Linux/Unix environments for application development, deployment, and troubleshooting. * Write, maintain, and troubleshoot shell scripts using bash/sh. * Perform basic database operations using SQL queries, including CRUD operations, joins, and indexing basics. * Use Git/SVN for code versioning, branching, merging, and collaborative development. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams for requirement understanding, technical discussions, issue resolution, and timely delivery. * Participate in code reviews, debugging, unit testing, and production support activities as required. **Expertise You'll Bring:** * Strong experience in C and C application development * Ability to write, debug, and optimize code in C/C * Data Structures \& STL: * Hands-on experience implementing data structures (arrays, linked lists, trees, hash maps) * Proficiency in STL components\*\* (vectors, maps, sets, algorithms) * Understanding of time and space complexity\*\* * Build Systems * Experience with C build tools such as: * Make files * CMake * Understanding of compilation, linking, and dependency management * Linux \& Shell Scripting * Hands-on experience working in a Linux/Unix environment * Ability to write and troubleshoot shell scripts (bash/sh) * Familiarity with process management and basic Linux commands * Database Knowledge: * Experience working with Oracle or similar RDBMS * Ability to write SQL queries (CRUD operations, joins, indexing basics) * Version Control * Experience with Git or SVN * Knowledge of: * Branching and merging * Code versioning and collaboration workflows **Benefits:** * Competitive salary and benefits package * Culture focused on talent development with quarterly growth opportunities and company-sponsored higher education and certifications * Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies * Employee engagement initiatives such as project parties, flexible work hours, and Long Service awards * Annual health check-ups * Insurance coverage: group term life, personal accident, and Mediclaim hospitalization for self, spouse, two children, and parents **Values-Driven, People-Centric \& Inclusive Work Environment:** Persistent is dedicated to fostering diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
