Job Summary Job Title: Senior Solution Developer Location: Pune Experience: 1-3 years We are seeking a dedicated Senior Solution Developer to manage and optimize our Electronic Parts Catalogue (EPC) system. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate and up-to-date parts information, supporting both internal teams and external partners. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to data management and stakeholder coordination. Responsibilities - Prepare and maintain the online Electronic Parts Catalogue (EPC) for various vehicle configurations (VC/VCBC). - Conduct thorough data comparison across EBOM (PLM), MBOM (SAP), and IPMS (scanned aggregates) to ensure EPC accuracy. - Manage the pricing of all assembly and child parts within the EPC system. - Update the EPC based on modifications from Engineering Release Control (ERC), including Breakpoint, MBPA, and ICM changes. - Incorporate customer feedback from the parts technical helpline into EPC updates. - Coordinate with ERC to ensure timely release of engine kit, cabin kit, and other assembly child parts into the system. - Liaise with ERC, Quality Assurance (QA), and Project Leaders (PL) for clarifications on released MBPA/ICM to facilitate EPC updates. - Collaborate with major vendors (e.g., Cummins, ZF, BIL, Meritor, Wabco) to ensure their child parts are accurately updated in the EPC. - Provide prompt assistance to the parts technical helpline, resolving channel partner queries within 24 hours. - Support the buyers technical helpline by resolving parts-related queries and establishing part relationships (MPN-IPN) between old/obsolete and new/modified parts to address VOR, convert backorders, and manage black parts. Skills and Qualifications - Proven experience in managing Electronic Parts Catalogue (EPC) systems. - Strong understanding of Bill of Material (BOM) structures, including EBOM (PLM) and MBOM (SAP). - Familiarity with IPMS (scanned aggregates) and data comparison techniques. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with internal teams and external vendors. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Proficiency in relevant software and systems for data management and catalogue maintenance. Key Responsibilities - Ensure the integrity and accuracy of parts data across all platforms. - Proactively manage part lifecycle changes and updates. - Facilitate seamless communication between engineering, supply chain, and customer support. - Contribute to the efficiency of parts ordering and inventory management.
