**CAD Engineer – Creo** **Position:** CAD Engineer – Piston Design **Location:** Bangalore **Experience:** 3 to 8 Years **Industry:** Automotive / Powertrain Engineering **Job Summary** We are seeking a skilled **CAD Engineer** with experience in **Piston Design** and strong proficiency in **PTC Creo**. The ideal candidate should have a background in the **Automotive Industry**, preferably in powertrain or engine components, and be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing piston components while ensuring compliance with quality, performance, and manufacturing requirements. **Key Responsibilities** - Create and modify 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings of piston components using **PTC Creo**. - Design and develop pistons, piston rings, and related engine components as per customer and project requirements. - Perform design calculations, tolerance stack-up analysis, and GD&T implementation. - Coordinate with CAE, manufacturing, quality, and testing teams during product development. - Support new product development and engineering change management activities. - Ensure designs comply with automotive standards, customer specifications, and manufacturing feasibility. - Participate in DFMEA, design reviews, and technical discussions with internal and external stakeholders. - Prepare technical documentation including drawings, BOMs, and engineering change requests. - Work closely with suppliers and manufacturing teams for prototype and production support. **Required Skills** - Strong experience in **PTC Creo (3D Modeling & Drafting)**. - Experience in **Piston Design** and engine component development. - Good understanding of **GD&T, Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing**. - Knowledge of automotive product development processes. - Experience with engineering drawings, BOM management, and change control processes. - Understanding of manufacturing processes such as casting, machining, and forging. - Familiarity with DFMEA, APQP, and quality standards. **Preferred Qualifications** - Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. - Experience in automotive powertrain, engine, or piston manufacturing industry. - Exposure to PLM tools such as Windchill will be an added advantage. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
