We are a global leader in the technology arena and theres nothing that can stop us from growing together.** **What we are looking for** **Role: Cassandra DBA** **Experience Range: 4 to 10 Years** **Location: Bangalore** **Interview Date: Friday Online** **Must Have:** - handoffs, read repairs, compaction, caching, GC Tuning. - Hands on experience in Cassandra installation, configuration, replacing dead nodes, clean-up, add and remove nodes/data centers in a multi DC environment - Experience in Cassandra Upgradation, Backups, restore and recovery of the Cassandra database. Must have experience in monitoring, troubleshooting and performance tuning of Cassandra cluster. - Good at Cassandra data-modeling. Managing database schema along with user/application security for Cassandra - Strong knowledge of UNIX/LINUX platforms and shell scripting. - Ability to quickly learn new business and technical concepts in a fast paced service focused environment. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills. - Good customer service and communication skills. Must be comfortable interacting with Internal clients and internal staff. - Highly motivated with the ability to work well independently and within a team environment. - Ability to work under pressure and to handle several tasks efficiently
