**Hi** **we have openings for Ceph Storage** **Experiecnce: 3 to 10yrs** **Location : kolkata** **JD:** - **Experience with Ceph:** Hands-on experience managing large-scale Ceph clusters in production environments. - **Linux Expertise:** Strong background in Linux systems administration (e.g., RHEL, Ubuntu). - **Networking Knowledge:** Solid understanding of network protocols, Linux networking, and distributed systems. - **Scripting:** Proficiency in Bash, Python, or Go for automation. - **Kubernetes/Cloud:** Knowledge of Kubernetes storage orchestration, particularly **Rook**. **Role & responsibilities** - **Deployment and Administration:** Installing, configuring, and upgrading Ceph clusters, including managing monitors (MONs) and Object Storage Daemons (OSDs). - **Performance Optimization:** Tuning Ceph for optimal block, object, and file system storage performance based on workload needs. - **Monitoring and Maintenance:** Proactively monitoring cluster health, performance, and capacity, using tools like Grafana, Prometheus, or the Ceph Dashboard. - **Troubleshooting:** Resolving complex storage incidents, such as PG (Placement Group) inconsistencies, OSD failures, and data rebalancing issues. - **Data Protection:** Implementing storage policies for data replication, erasure coding, and snapshot management. - **Automation:** Using automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Python) to automate daily tasks, deployment, and infrastructure management. if you are intrested kindly share your cv or resume to this mail id **guggilapubindusha.p@Tcs.com**
