**Job Description CFD Engineer (STAR-CCM+ | SCR Exhaust System)** **Position:** CFD Engineer SCR Exhaust System**Location:** Pune, Maharashtra**Experience:** 37 Years**Industry:** Automotive / Powertrain / Emissions Aftertreatment **About the Role** We are seeking a highly motivated **CFD Engineer** with expertise in **STAR-CCM+**, **SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction)** systems, and **automotive exhaust aftertreatment systems**. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing CFD simulations, analyzing flow and thermal behavior, and supporting the development of emission control solutions for automotive applications. **Key Responsibilities** - Perform CFD simulations and analysis using **STAR-CCM+** for automotive exhaust and aftertreatment systems. - Analyze fluid flow, heat transfer, mixing efficiency, and pressure drop within exhaust components. - Support the development and optimization of **SCR systems**, DEF/Urea injection strategies, and emission reduction technologies. - Evaluate and improve the performance of exhaust system components including mixers, catalysts, DOC, DPF, and SCR units. - Develop simulation methodologies and validate results against experimental data. - Collaborate with design, product development, and validation teams to deliver optimized engineering solutions. - Prepare technical reports, simulation documentation, and engineering presentations. - Participate in design reviews and provide technical recommendations based on simulation findings. - Support project planning, execution, and timely delivery of engineering activities. **Required Qualifications** - Bachelor''s or Master''s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or related discipline. - 37 years of experience in CFD analysis within the automotive industry. - Strong hands-on experience with **STAR-CCM+**. - Good understanding of **SCR systems**, exhaust aftertreatment, and emission control technologies. - Experience in fluid flow, heat transfer, and thermal analysis. - Knowledge of automotive exhaust systems and powertrain applications. - Strong analytical and problem-solving
