**Job Purpose:** Support the CGI team in creating and preparing cad data for rendering stills, animation & configuators. To texture and create shaders for the CGI model, as well as assisting in poly-modelling 'soft surfaces' (seats, tyres etc) and low poly model various components and objects. **Position Overview:** Location: Chennai Position Title: Assistant Manager Reports to: CGI Manager Function: Product Strategy & Industrial Design **What you’ll do:** - To prepare CAD and 3D files, including surfacing texturing, naming and layering. - To understand and follow all pipeline production workflows and procedures, ensuring all data assets produced meet a certain standard of quality. - To manipulate hard surface CAD through the use of Rhino. - To import and translate CAD geometry in 3DS Max, that do not compromise the original surface detail. - To UV unwrap tessellated surface geometry when needed. - To develop 3d skills using Max, Maya and Rhino. - To develop lighting and rendering skills using the studio chosen render engines. - To develop modelling skills. - To create certain models in both low and high poly to a high standard. - To carry out any reasonable duties as identified by your line manager. - To attend shoots / photograph textures and references when needed. **What you'll bring:** **Experience:** - At least one year experience in automotive OEM or independent studio working with OEM - Experience and skilled in Rhino - Experience in working to defined processes and technical standards (pipeline) - Well skilled in Maya / Autodesk 3DS MAX - Good working knowledge of Vray - Some knowledge of Unreal would be beneficial **Qualification:** Bachelor’s degree in B.des **Why work with us?** We are a global leader in middleweight motorcycles (250-750cc), operating in 80 countries.
