Job Description Chartered Accountant Position Overview We are seeking a qualified **Chartered Accountant** to oversee endtoend accounting operations, including financial reporting, compliance, billing, accounts payable/receivable, and audit support. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure accuracy in financial documentation while driving process efficiency. Key Responsibilities - **Financial reporting**: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. - **Billing and receivables**: Manage client billing, invoicing, and collections; maintain accurate records of receivables. - **Accounts payable**: Process vendor invoices, monitor due payments, and reconcile accounts payable ledgers. - **General ledger accounting**: Post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and ensure accuracy of ledgers. - **Tax compliance**: Prepare tax returns, ensure adherence to statutory requirements, and support audits. - **Budgeting and forecasting**: Assist in preparing budgets, track variances, and provide financial insights. - **Cash flow management**: Monitor inflows/outflows and support liquidity planning. - **Audit support**: Coordinate with internal and external auditors, prepare documentation, and resolve queries. - **Process improvement**: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting operations and enhance efficiency. Qualifications - Chartered Accountant (CA) certification. - Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and financial regulations. - Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, SAP, ERP systems) and MS Excel. - Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills. - Strong communication and organizational abilities. Preferred Skills - Experience in **vendor management** and reconciliation. - Knowledge of **GST and TDS**. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively with crossfunctional teams.
