The Team Our team is responsible for improving and supporting our major on-premise Process Mining application and providing a smooth migration and transition path to our Celonis Platform SaaS solution. The Role We are seeking a talented Chief of Staff for our Engineering department and to be based in Bangalore reporting to the Senior Vice president of the function The work you’ll do • Chief of Staff for Engineering acts as a strategic partner to the Senior Executive of Engineering, driving operational cadence, cross-functional execution, and strategic alignment across technical teams • Strategic Planning: Partner with engineering leadership to define departmental goals, track OKRs/KPIs, and allocate resources efficiently. • Operational Cadence: Run engineering leadership meetings, set agendas, track follow-ups, and streamline communication between product, engineering, and other business units • Program & Project Management: Oversee high-priority, cross-functional technical initiatives, helping to remove blockers and bridge gaps between teams. • Communication & Change Management: Act as a trusted proxy and communications conduit for the SVP of Engineering, drafting internal updates, memos, and board decks • This is your unique opportunity to: • Experience top level interactions at Celonis customers, partners and other external stakeholders of Celonis. • Learn how a software company is managed both in daily business as well as strategically planning Celonis’ future • Contribute significantly to Celonis growth trajectory in the upcoming years • Gain and grow entrepreneurial competence • Take ownership and grow your leadership skills The qualifications you need • Experience: 5+ years in engineering program management, technical operations, management consulting, or software engineering management. • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to translate technical details for executive stakeholders. • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field • Exceptional organisational and project management skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, including empathy and tact. • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. • Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools. • Strategic mindset with the ability to drive change and process improvements. • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. • Ability and motivation to quickly understand and assess various requirements and solve unique problems across business domains • Analytical rigor • Strong entrepreneurial traits and passion for execution What Celonis Can Offer You: • Pioneer Innovation: Work with the leading, award-winning process mining technology, shaping the future of business. • Accelerate Your Growth: Benefit from clear career paths, internal mobility, a dedicated learning program, and mentorship opportunities. • Receive Exceptional Benefits: Including generous PTO, hybrid working options, company equity (RSUs), comprehensive benefits, extensive parental leave, dedicated volunteer days, and much more.
