Together with its customers and partners, Kyndryl positions itself as the heart of progress in the digital world. **Role Description** The Cloud Architect – GCP will design, implement, and maintain cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform for enterprise customers in Hyderabad. This full-time, on-site role includes defining cloud architectures, selecting appropriate services, and ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements. Daily responsibilities involve collaborating with infrastructure, development, and security teams, creating reference architectures, performing integration design, and guiding cloud migration and modernization efforts. The Cloud Architect will review existing systems, recommend improvements, optimize performance and cost, and support troubleshooting and incident resolution. The role also includes documenting solutions, providing technical leadership, mentoring team members, and contributing to best practices and standards for GCP-based architectures. **Qualifications** - Strong solution design capabilities with skills in Solution Architecture and Architecture, including creating scalable, secure, and resilient GCP-based solutions. - Experience with Infrastructure design and operations, including networks, storage, compute, and security controls in cloud and hybrid environments. - Background in Software Development with knowledge of modern application architectures (microservices, APIs) and CI/CD practices. - Skills in Integration, including designing and implementing data flows, APIs, and connectivity between on-premises and cloud systems. - Hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform services (e.g., Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL/Spanner, Pub/Sub, IAM) and cloud security best practices. - Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills. - Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; relevant cloud certifications (e.g., Google Professional Cloud Architect) are highly beneficial. Preferred Technical and Professional Experience - Certifications Required - GCP - Professional Cloud Architect - Professional Cloud Security Engineer - Cloud Developer / DevOps Engineer - Terraform, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Jenkins etc - Certifications Required - AWS - AWS Solutions Architect – Professional - Optional certifications: - AWS Developer Associate, AWS DevOps Professional, AWS Specialty - Terraform, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Jenkins etc - MS Project or other Project Management software - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - •Ability to interact confidently with stakeholders of all levels
