We named a Leader in the Everest Group Private Equity (PE) Services PEAK Matrix� Assessment 2026 and Software Product Engineering PEAK Matrix� Assessment 2026. **About Position** We are seeking an experienced Cloud Migration Solution Architect to lead large-scale migration and modernization programs from on-premises or legacy systems to public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). The ideal candidate will define cloud strategy, architecture, and governance while driving secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud transformations across enterprise environments. - Role: Cloud Migration Architect - Location: Pune - Experience: 15 to 20 years - Job Type: Full Time Employment **What You'll Do** - Define cloud adoption strategy, architecture standards, and migration roadmaps - Design secure, scalable, and highly available cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, or GCP - Build multi-region, disaster recovery solutions aligned with RTO/RPO requirements - Establish landing zones including networking, IAM, monitoring, and security baselines - Lead end-to-end cloud migration programs including discovery, assessment, migration, and optimization - Define migration strategies such as Lift & Shift, Replatform, Refactor, Retire, and Retain - Plan migration waves, cutover strategies, rollback plans, and risk mitigation - Perform application portfolio assessment and dependency mapping - Design end-to-end cloud solutions aligned with business and technical requirements - Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates - Define integration patterns for APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures - Enable CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation practices - Define cloud security architecture including IAM, encryption, and network controls - Ensure compliance with standards such as SOC2, GDPR, and PCI - Establish governance frameworks including cost optimization, tagging, and policy controls - Optimize cloud performance, cost utilization, and resource sizing - Monitor and improve post-migration system reliability and performance - Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders and lead architecture discussions - Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, security, and program teams **Expertise You'll Bring** - Strong experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP (multi-cloud preferred) - Expertise in cloud architecture design and migration tools (AWS MGN, Azure Migrate, etc.) - Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation - Strong knowledge of networking (VPC, subnets, routing, hybrid connectivity) - Experience with containers and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices - Experience with database migration (SQL and NoSQL) - Understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture - Hands-on experience in application and data migration, replication, and cutover planning - Strong understanding of enterprise migration frameworks and best practices - Ability to translate business requirements into technical architecture - Strong stakeholder management and communication skills - Experience leading cross-functional teams and large-scale programs - Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Computer Science or related field - Relevant certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP Architect, Kubernetes, DevOps) preferred - Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments is a plus - Knowledge of FinOps, cost governance, and SRE practices is an advantage - Domain experience in BFSI, Retail, or Healthcare is a plus **Benefits** - Competitive salary and benefits package - Culture focused on talent development with quarterly growth opportunities and company-sponsored higher education and certifications - Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies - Employee engagement initiatives such as project parties, flexible work hours, and Long Service awards - Annual health check-ups - Insurance coverage: group term life, personal accident, and Mediclaim hospitalization for self, spouse, two children, and parents **Values-Driven, People-Centric & Inclusive Work Environment** Persistent is dedicated to fostering diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
