We bring together technologies and industries, alongside the contributions of diverse individuals who are empowered by an intentional workplace culture, to solve problems better and faster. **Summary** - Define and govern end-to-end cloud solution architecture for Remote Services platforms hosted on AWS. - Create High-Level Designs (HLDs) for new system components, considering scalability, performance, and security. - Conduct Low-Level Design (LLD) reviews to ensure architectural integrity and alignment with best practices. - Design scalable cloud architectures for IoT ingestion, telemetry processing, device lifecycle management, and OTA/FOTA services. - Establish cloud reference architectures, patterns, and standards for microservices, APIs, event-driven systems, and data platforms - Lead cloud architecture reviews, ensuring compliance with security, reliability, performance, scalability, and availability requirements - Drive architectural decisions for multi-region deployments, high availability, disaster recovery, and resiliency - Collaborate with security teams to design secure cloud architectures incorporating IAM, network security, encryption, and zero-trust principles - Partner with engineering teams to guide implementation and ensure architectural integrity across delivery teams - Evaluate cloud-native services, third-party platforms, and emerging technologies, making informed trade-off decisions - Stay current with AWS services, emerging technologies, and industry best practices. We shine the brightest when we tap into the many dimensions that thrive across over 21,000 difference-makers in our workplace. **Work Experience** **Cloud & Solution Architecture** - Strong expertise in Cloud Solution Architecture and System Architecture - Hands-on experience designing solutions on AWS and/or Azure, including core services for compute, storage, networking, and security. - Proven experience architecting cloud-native, microservices-based, and event-driven architectures - Strong understanding of multi-tenant, globally distributed cloud platforms IoT & Platform Architecture - Knowledge of IoT architectures, including device onboarding, connectivity, telemetry ingestion, and device lifecycle management - Experience or Awareness with OTA / FOTA firmware management for connected products - Understanding of event streaming, message brokers, and distributed data processing pipelines Non-Functional & Enterprise Design - Strong grasp of non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, reliability, security, and cost optimization - Experience designing highly available and fault-tolerant cloud systems - Ability to create and communicate architecture diagrams, cloud blueprints, and reference architectures to technical and non-technical stakeholders - Experience evaluating technologies and making architecture trade-off decisions aligned with enterprise standards **Qualifications** - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field - 10+ years of overall experience in software, platform, or cloud engineering - 5+ years in an architecture role (Cloud Solution Architect, System Architect, Platform Architect, or equivalent) - Cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect and/or Azure Solutions Architect are strongly preferred
