CMDB & Service Mapping Analyst Reports To: Service Mapping Lead / CMDB Lead Position Overview:Gathers detailed hardware and software inventory information to facilitate decisions about purchasing, allocating, replenishing and retiring IT assets. Contributes to asset lifecycle management and helps ensure the effective and efficient use of allocated hardware, software and associated infrastructure. Enforces compliance with corporate security policies, licensing requirements and technology deployment standards. Coordinates with system support, networking and other personnel to ensure the effective and efficient management of company assets. Role Summary Responsible for supporting Howden's CMDB operations and building, maintaining, and validating ServiceNow service maps. Ensures CMDB data quality, accurate CI relationships, service visibility, and alignment with CSDM standards while supporting operational, governance, and compliance requirements.    Key Responsibilities • Build, maintain, and support ServiceNow service maps.  • Manage CMDB data quality, CI relationships, reconciliation exceptions, and remediation activities.  • Validate service dependencies with service owners, application owners, and technical SMEs. • Support Discovery operations, investigate mapping and discovery issues, and maintain relationship accuracy. • Perform service map reviews, certification, and periodic validation activities.  • Produce operational reports, document exceptions, and support governance and audit requirements.   Required Skills • 3+ years of ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping experience. • Strong knowledge of CSDM, CI lifecycle management, and dependency mapping. • Experience working with infrastructure, applications, cloud platforms, and ITSM processes. • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder engagement skills.   Success Measures • CMDB data quality and compliance scores. • Service mapping throughput and quality. • Accuracy of CI relationships and service dependencies. • Timely closure of CMDB and mapping-related issues.   #LI-RB1 You will be successful in this role if you have: Any degree and 4-6 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience Unisys is proud to be an equal opportunity employer that considers all qualified applicants without regard to age, blood type, caste, citizenship, color, disability, family medical history, family status, ethnicity, gender, gender expression, gender identity, genetic information, marital status, national origin, parental status, pregnancy, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, transgender status, veteran status or any other category protected by law.
